Harvey Felman

Harvey Felman is a Partner and serves as the Head of Business Development. He is responsible for relationship management, investor solutions, client service and marketing & communications. Mr. Felman is a member of TRG’s Executive Committee and is based in New York.

Mr. Felman has over 30 years of experience in emerging markets. Prior to joining TRG in September 2022, he served as President and Managing Partner of Argentem Creek Partners, an emerging markets credit specialist.  In this role he was responsible for implementing the firm’s strategic plan and managing the operational aspects of the business.  He also served as a portfolio strategist and led the firm’s risk effort. From 2015 to 2020, Mr. Felman was President and Founding Partner at Frontlight Capital LP, a discretionary global macro investment management firm, where he was responsible for certain aspects of the emerging market investment portfolio, risk management, business development and the firm’s operational and governance infrastructure.  Prior to Frontlight, he spent 24 years at JP Morgan Chase, most recently as the Head of US Emerging Market Fixed Income Sales, where he was a senior member of the global emerging markets management team.  During this time, he was responsible for global emerging market product offerings for North American clients, including external sovereign debt, corporate credit, local markets fixed income, foreign exchange and derivative products.  Mr. Felman began his tenure at JP Morgan as an emerging market sales assistant in 1992 and subsequently sold and traded nearly every emerging market security JP Morgan offered across asset classes and countries during several market cycles.  He was instrumental in the creation of new products as emerging markets trading evolved through the 1990’s.  In the 2000’s , as JP Morgan expanded its emerging market footprint globally, Mr. Felman was in an oversight role, managing the North America team and teams in certain regions.

Mr. Felman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Boston College.
