Associate
Mr. Mihai Velciu joins TRG as an Associate based in London.
Prior to joining TRG in November 2023, Mr. Velciu was an Associate in Piper Sandler’s European Healthcare M&A team. Mr. Velciu started his career working within Santander’s Strategic Equity Solutions division in London. Mr. Velciu brings a wealth of expertise to our team, focused mainly on M&A within healthcare services (care homes, diagnostics clinics, dental centers) and pharma services (CROs) gained during his time at Piper, and focused on margin loan structuring and equity derivatives gained during his time at Santander.
Mr. Velciu has a Masters in Economics from Queen Mary University of London and is currently studying for CFA Level III. He is a native Romanian speaker.
